What is LandGrab?
LandGrab is an advertising map. Businesses book ad slots that are shown on places on the map: a state or region, a country, an ocean, a continent, or a famous spot like the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal or the Burj Khalifa. Visitors explore the map, play free games, and discover the businesses advertising there.
How ad slots work
- Every place has its own top-10 ad chart. The #1 ad is shown most prominently, on the map and on the place’s panel.
- Book any slot. An open slot costs the place’s starting price. To book a slot that already has an ad, you pay 10% more than that ad (at least $1 more).
- New ads push lower ones down. If you book slot #2, the ad that was at #2 moves to #3, and so on. Ads below the top 10 stay listed but aren’t shown in the chart.
- Starting prices by place: state or region $10, famous spot $50, country $500, ocean $1,000, continent $2,000.
What you are buying
You are buying advertising space on this website, shown in connection with a place name. You are not buying, renting or claiming any land, territory, building or landmark, and you get no rights over any place.
Ads are placed by independent businesses. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any place, government, city authority, or the owners or operators of any landmark shown on the map. Place names and landmark drawings are used only to show where an ad appears. The landmark drawings are our own original illustrations.
Rules
Ads must be honest and lawful. No hate, harassment, other people’s personal information, scams, adult content, or claims that suggest you represent or are endorsed by a place or landmark unless that’s true. Anyone can report an ad, and moderators can hide ads that break the rules. See the Terms.
